Sheaumann Laser, Inc. is a privately-held corporation that was founded in 2005 by Jim Hsieh, a pioneer of the packaged semiconductor laser industry. Entirely management owned with no outside investors, the company is in full control of its operations and financial status, enabling it to carry out its objectives in an efficient and productive manner not possible with most other laser manufacturing companies still in business today.
Sheaumann leases a 15,000 sq ft manufacturing facility located within an hour's drive from Boston, where all product is designed, assembled, and tested. In an era where most laser companies are outsourcing their production to China and other foreign countries, we stand out above the rest by keeping our manufacturing at home. This enables us total control over our production processes and quality system, and it eliminates the headaches and inefficiencies of communication, shipping, and travel across the globe. Everyone on our team fully understands all aspects of our business and manufacturing processes because we are exposed to it every day at our workplace. The result for our customers is short leadtimes, competitive pricing, quality product, and superior customer service.
